Just
wanted to tell you that we had SO much fun at the little intro class a
few weekends ago. Sophie was just standing there, wagging her tail with
a big goofy grin on her face while we waited our turn. :)
Look forward to seeing you again!

Sharon's
House Manners class was fantastic! We found it to be extremely helpful
and beneficial to ourselves and our dog. She teaches practical, real
world techniques that really work and produce results. We enjoyed having
the workbook to follow along with and to refer back to if needed.
Thanks for everything! Rick, Amanda and Dharma
The
House Manners class with Sharon really helped me and my
Aussie/German Shepherd mix, Charlie. It taught
me how to interact with my dog in a variety of different situations,
from meeting other dogs to teaching him to wait for his dinner to be
served. Since the class, we have been practicing our commands every day
and Charlie continues to become a better listener. He barely 'whines'
around other dogs anymore and I've learned that it's okay to let him
meet other dogs, instead of trying to shield him from the world, which
only increases his anxiety. Charlie and I will most likely continue to
take classes with Sharon because she
was such a great help, for both of us.
Thanks! Kelsey & Charlie, Mission, KS
I
am amazed at the difference I have seen in Zoe since starting the House
Manners Class. When we started, I really didn't think she was trainable.
The first night of class I had no control over her. She pulled me all
around the room by her leash and would not hold still. I was exhausted
when I left class! By the end of the last class, I was able to let go of
her leash and have her follow my commands! She loves to practice her
lessons and really enjoys the extra attention. I will continue to work
with her on a daily basis to incorporate her new skills into our daily
activities. Thank you so much for helping me learn to teach Zoe how to be
a well mannered member of our family.

Sharon's
agility classes have been great, both for my dog Kip, and for me. He's
having a wonderful time weaving around poles and racing through tunnels.
And I've become much more conscious of the ways in which I communicate
with Kip. Thanks to Sharon I'm paying more attention to my body language
and the messages I send my dog without even realizing it! I feel like my
bond with Kip has become stronger because we understand one another
better. And we've had lots of fun!

Hi
Sharon, just wanted to thank you again for your help with Jelly Bean. We
continue to work with her and have a better idea of things we should be
focusing on. Most importantly, I think we are both much more aware
of/watching for her to show signs of becoming spooked/uncomfortable in a
situation. We still have lots of work to do, but will continue—she
certainly seems to take well to clicker training and is willing to work
for that treat!

Sharon
did a great job helping me train my dog. She tailored each lesson to fit
the issues I was having with my dog and came up with solutions that
worked! The best part is now I can take my dog for a walk without
her pulling me!

We
are so pleased with our classes at Personable Pets. Sharon is
wonderful! She is extremely calm and patient with the people and the
pets. She is careful to spend time with each of us to be sure we are
learning and having fun. The classes have taught us that we are always
training our puppy and have given us the skills to do it right.

I
became the proud owner of an Australian Shepherd named “Tippy” not too
long ago and decided that with her high energy level and my low energy
level that I was going to need a lot of help teaching her to be a
productive member of our family without losing her wonderful spirit of
adventure and love of life. Luckily, I found Sharon.
Her
philosophy is no negative training, no corrective collars and no yelling
at your dog. Everything is very positive, plus lot’s of treats. Best
part….It works!!!! Best of all it is a team effort between you and your
dog. I have had a trainer do all of the work, only to find out that my
dog does very well for him or her, and won’t respond to me at all.
Having fun is a top priority and was exactly what we needed. The Manners
I class was a small group of people of various ages and life- styles
with dogs that were much the same. With the small classes we were able
receive a lot of individual attention. Both Tippy and I learned fast.
She is now a real pleasure to be around and I can take her almost
anywhere with pride. This was my ultimate goal at that time and I am so
happy with the result. It was a wonderful experience.
I
never thought at the time that I would do anything more, but was
disappointed when the classes were over. It was then
that Sharon suggested that we might like to try some Agility classes. We
tried it and love it! Tippy is in her element and doing much
better than I am. We hope to take in some Fun Runs this spring. I may
never go to trials, but what better way to bond with the wonderful
creature that is such a large part of our lives. Our successes and
failures (hopefully not to many) are always shared.
Thanks, Sharon, for all of your help and patience !

Sharon,
We really enjoyed the
class. Moose has improved in alot of the tasks. First
night we had him Place in the kitchen he stayed for 30 mins and we
only put him back twice! Which I thought was great for him...
Thanks again for a great
class and good luck in the future.

Moose
